  This event is open to all pilots and is not specifically for advanced pilots.
Competitions tasks are set to match the skill levels of all pilots.
The aim being to help pilots improve their skills and to learn from each other.
And to have some fun......

The event is also open to pilots attending for recreational flying, outside competition task times.

This event aims to attract distributors and instructors to promote their services and equipment.
Also, to attract spectators and media to help promote the sport and its growth.

It will also serve as the National Championships for each country.

THE PROGRAM GUIDE

Thursday 5th = Warm-up Day - Recreational flying & location familiarisation.
Friday 6th = First day of competition - 6.30am Task briefing.
Saturday 7th = Tasks continued - 6.30am Task briefing.
Sunday 8th = Tasks continued - 6.30am Task briefing.
Sunday evening - Competition dinner (venue to be confirmed)
Monday 9th = Spare day for competition completion if needed,
otherwise, recreational flying.

There will be recreational flying, outside competition times.

HOWEVER....
Carriage and use of VHF Radios will be mandatory, whenever you are
flying within 10nm of the airfield, including when you are competing.

NO RADIO = NO FLYING

New Zealand or International pilots will also need to take out
"Visiting Pilot Membership" with the HGFA.
To do so please Visiting Pilot Membership after registering.

Pilots who will be attending for recreational flying only, must also register.
Fees are the same.

Your registration fee includes a Championship vest
with the championship logo, embroidered on it.
